Controlling how Strokes and Effects scale in Illustrator

The “Scale Strokes and Effects” option within Illustrator is very important when resizing artwork. When turned on, any strokes or effects will scale with any changes in size to artwork. When turned off, any numerical values associated with strokes or effects will remain unchanged when scaling any artwork.
